Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ('Terms') are a binding agreement between you and 42gen Co. doing business as Argo ('Argo,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our') governing your use of the Argo home intelligence platform, including askargo.com, mobile applications, and all related services (the 'Service'). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at security@askargo.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
3. The Service
Argo provides a home intelligence platform that includes home inventory documentation (Home File), AI-generated home analysis, equity intelligence, estate documentation tools (Estate Mode), advisor-sharing features, and related services. We reserve the right to modify, expand, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
4. Subscription Plans and Payment
- Free Plan: Free, no card required.
- Paid Plans: Argo offers paid subscription tiers (currently Pro and Portfolio) that unlock additional features and multi-property support. Current plan names, prices, features, and any free trial are shown in the app before you subscribe.
Paid plans are billed in advance. Annual subscriptions are billed upfront. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.
5. Important Limitations: What Argo Is and Is Not
Argo provides informational tools for homeowners. We are not a licensed financial advisor, insurance broker, real estate appraiser, or attorney. Specifically:
- Argo's equity estimates and valuations are informational only, not licensed appraisals. Do not use them as the basis for financial transactions, insurance claims, or legal proceedings without independent professional verification.
- Argo's estate documentation tools support personal record-keeping and family communication. They do not constitute legally executed estate planning documents and do not replace a will, trust, or other legal instrument.
- AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Always verify important information with appropriate professionals.
6. Your Content
You own the Content you submit to Argo. By submitting Content, you grant Argo a limited license to process and store it to deliver the Service. Argo's use of your data for model training is governed by our Privacy Policy and your Privacy Settings.
7. Prohibited Uses
- Submitting false, fraudulent, or misleading information
- Creating insurance documentation or estate records intended to deceive
- Violating any applicable law or regulation
- Accessing the Service through unauthorized automated means
- Using the Service if you are under 18 years of age
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available.' Argo makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Argo's liability shall not exceed the greater of fees paid in the three months prior to the claim or fifty dollars ($50). In no event shall Argo be liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Boston, MA.
