Our Purpose

Argo exists to give homeowners clarity, confidence, and control over their most important asset. Every feature we build is designed to help you make better decisions about your home and what it represents for your financial life and your family.

This Usage Policy sets the boundaries. Argo is a tool for honest people who want to understand and protect what they own. Misuse to deceive, defraud, or harm anyone is not something we will enable.

What Argo Is For

  • Documenting and cataloging your home, property, and personal belongings
  • Tracking home improvements, capital investments, and cost basis for tax purposes
  • Creating personal records for estate planning and family communication
  • Understanding your home equity and how it fits into your broader financial picture
  • Preparing and sharing documentation with advisors, attorneys, and insurance professionals
  • Planning for major life transitions, including downsizing, relocation, and estate settlement

What Argo Is Not For

Insurance Fraud

Argo's documentation tools are designed to improve your legitimate insurance coverage. Using Argo to create false or inflated documentation of items you do not own, did not lose, or that were never damaged is insurance fraud, a serious crime. We will cooperate with insurer investigations and law enforcement.

Estate Manipulation

Estate Mode helps you communicate your wishes clearly to the people you love. It is not a legal instrument. You may not use Argo to coerce, deceive, or manipulate family members regarding estate matters, to create false ownership records, or to circumvent legally executed estate documents.

Financial Misrepresentation

Argo's equity and asset valuations are informational tools. Using Argo-generated valuations to misrepresent your financial position to lenders, investors, tax authorities, or any other party is prohibited and potentially illegal.

Exploitation of Vulnerable People

You may not use Argo or access a family member's account to exploit, financially abuse, coerce, or deceive any person, particularly those who are elderly, cognitively impaired, or otherwise vulnerable.

Unauthorized Account Access

You may only access and manage Argo accounts to which you have explicit authorization to access. Accessing a family member's account without their knowledge or consent may violate their privacy and applicable law, even in the context of estate management.

Professional and Support Users

Financial advisors, estate attorneys, insurance professionals, and other professional sponsors are subject to this Usage Policy in addition to their own professional obligations. Participating advisors must disclose their compensation relationship to clients as required by their regulatory obligations.

Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, account suspension, or permanent termination. Serious violations, particularly fraud, exploitation, or illegal activity, will be reported to appropriate authorities.
