Argo

Trust, safety, and how we protect you

Your home is your most important asset. We built Argo to protect it and you.

Our promise

When you use Argo, you are trusting us with something deeply personal: your home, your belongings, your family's financial future, and, in Estate Mode, your voice and your wishes. Argo is built on four commitments: your data stays yours, our AI tells you what it knows and what it doesn't, we never put the business ahead of your interests, and we work harder to protect vulnerable users than any regulation requires.

Your data

Your data is yours

Your Home File belongs to you. Export your complete data at any time, in a portable format, regardless of your subscription status. If you cancel, your data doesn't disappear — data portability is a founding commitment, not a feature we can change.

We don't sell it

Argo's business model is subscription software. We earn revenue when you subscribe, not when we sell your data. We do not sell your personal information, your home data, your photos, your videos, or your estate records to any third party.

You control AI training

We give you a clear choice about whether your data is used to improve Argo's AI. The default for new users is Off. We ask for your preference; we don't assume it. You can change this at any time in Privacy Settings. These are architectural commitments baked into the platform, not terms-of-service language we can change at the next update.

Your estate mode is yours

Video notes and beneficiary assignments are stored with additional access controls in place. They are never included in standard Advisor Shares, only in explicit, separate authorizations you make. They are never used for marketing or product analytics.

Our AI

We tell you when it's AI

Every AI-generated output in Argo valuations, recommendations, and assessments is labeled as AI-generated. We don't present AI analysis as professional advice. When something requires a licensed professional, we say so.

We tell you what it doesn't know

Our AI is honest about uncertainty. When an estimate has wide variance, when data is incomplete, or when a situation is outside our model's reliable range, Argo tells you. We would rather give you an accurate picture of uncertainty than false precision that misleads a decision.

We don't let AI take irreversible actions

Argo's AI makes recommendations. It does not execute transactions, sign documents, or take any financial actions on your behalf without your explicit confirmation at every step. Agentic features will always require human approval before any consequential action occurs.

Protecting seniors and vulnerable users

We have built specific protections into Argo's design and policy:

Our Usage Policy explicitly prohibits using Argo to exploit, deceive, or financially harm elderly or cognitively impaired users.

We do not enable unsolicited financial targeting of users based on their home equity or estate data.

Our advisor compliance program requires participating advisors to disclose their compensation relationship to clients.
