Getting started with Argo
Create an account, add your first property, and start building your Home File.
Argo keeps everything that matters about your property and belongings in one place: deeds, warranties, receipts, insurance, inspection reports, appliance manuals, and more. We call that your Home File. This guide walks you through the first 10 minutes.
Create an account
- Sign up with Apple, Google, or email + password at app.askargo.com.
- If you sign up by email, check your inbox for a verification link. It usually arrives within a minute; check spam if it doesn't.
Add your first property
- On the home screen, tap Add property.
- Enter your address. Argo looks up public property records to prefill details like year built, square footage, and lot size.
- Review what we found. You can correct anything that's off.
Upload your first document
- Open Documents and tap Upload. Supported formats include PDF, PNG, JPG, HEIC, and common Office files. Max size is 25 MB per file.
- Argo reads the document and suggests a category, title, and tags. Confirm or adjust.
Meet the Argo agent
- Tap the chat icon and ask Argo anything about your home, documents, or belongings. Try something like “when does my water heater warranty expire?” or “what's a fair replacement cost for my roof?” or “summarize my home inspection.”
- The agent is grounded in your actual documents. If it doesn't know something, it'll say so.
Install the mobile app
Download Argo from the App Store or Google Play to capture receipts and photos on the go. Your Home File stays in sync across devices.
